Safety Program
91´óÉñèÏÈÉúǧÈËÕ¶ is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for everyone on campus, including students, faculty, staff and visitors. The Department of Campus Security is on duty around the clock, providing 24-hour continuous service to all areas of campus. In the event of an emergency, the blue light emergency call towers located throughout campus can be utilized to summon security. In addition, there is always someone available to answer calls placed to the main Security Office at (904) 256-7585.

91´óÉñèÏÈÉúǧÈËÕ¶ Alert is a campus-wide program notifies University employees, students, and visitors of an on-going emergency affecting the campus. Once an emergency message has been prepared, it is delivered without delay through several communications platforms:

The 91´óÉñèÏÈÉúǧÈËÕ¶ Mobile Safety App, available on Apple and Android, offers safety features and resources customized for 91´óÉñèÏÈÉúǧÈËÕ¶. Our goal: To further enhance student security both on and off campus by creating greater accessibility. The app features multiple, user-friendly functions, including a campus map, detailed emergency plans, how to report suspicious activity and your own safety toolbox.

This yearly and comprehensive guide provides information on community resources, Title IX Coordinator and Deputy Coordinators, options for assistance following an incident, as well as the University’s current policies in the areas of drug and alcohol, weapons, sexual assault prevention, sexual misconduct, and other information.
Green Dot Intervention Program
Green Dot 91´óÉñèÏÈÉúǧÈËÕ¶ is a comprehensive violence prevention program. It’s objectives are to decrease the likelihood of dating and domestic violence, stalking, and sexual assault. Green Dot 91´óÉñèÏÈÉúǧÈËÕ¶ seeks to change the campus culture by empowering bystanders with practical tools to intervene, promote safety, and play an active role in reducing power-based personal violence.
