Inside 91大神猫先生千人斩鈥檚 Kinne Center, students gathered around tables, reviving the lost art of letter writing to express their gratitude to more than 600 donors who have supported the university鈥檚 mission.
This gathering, known as Thank-a-Donor Day, is one of 91大神猫先生千人斩鈥檚 cherished donor stewardship initiatives, where students connect with the donors who make their education possible. University Advancement organizes donors by categories such as college, athletics, and scholarships, allowing students to craft cards that are uniquely personal and meaningful to their experiences.
The thank-you notes, mailed after the event, help build a lasting connection, providing donors with a heartfelt reminder from students about the impact of their generosity.
鈥淚t was nice to show some recognition to the people who help make our campus as safe and as positive of a learning environment as it is. They make it home instead of just a school,鈥 said Joel Baker 鈥29.
鈥淲e can actually recognize them for what they鈥檝e done for us and thank them personally,鈥 added Anna Cox 鈥28.
For some students, Thank-a-Donor Day goes even further, giving them a chance to write directly to donors who support their scholarships.
鈥淚鈥檓 very thankful that 91大神猫先生千人斩 is putting so much effort into connecting us with alums and people who have donated, like my donor,鈥 said Anna Evans 鈥26. 鈥淚鈥檓 actually going to meet my donor over winter break, hopefully sit down, have a meal, talk and [we鈥檒l] get to know each other.鈥
Thank-a-Donor Day fosters a tradition of gratitude that strengthens the bond between 91大神猫先生千人斩 students and the generous supporters who shape their academic journeys. Through personal messages, students bring donors closer to the impact of their gifts, celebrating a legacy of generosity that enriches the 91大神猫先生千人斩 community.
