Do you offer services online?

Yes! We offer intake sessions, therapy sessions, and consultations using secure virtual telehealth platforms. If you would like to schedule a telehealth appointment with a counselor, fill out an .

How do I prepare for a telehealth appointment?

To engage in a telehealth appointment, you will need access to a quiet, private space during the time of your appointment. You will also need reliable access to a device, such as a desktop computer, laptop, or cellphone, as well as headphones or earbuds, if possible. Ensure that your devices are properly charged and connected to the internet (our telehealth systems tend to work best on the Google Chrome browser). Plan to log into your secure client portal prior to your session to complete paperwork and access important links.

How do I prepare for an in-person appointment?

To engage in an in-person appointment, you will need to make your way to the Student Counseling Center office located on the first floor of the Health Sciences Complex. We recommend arriving a few minutes early so that your appointment can begin at the scheduled time. Plan to log into your secure client portal prior to your session to complete paperwork and access important links. You may do this on your own ahead of time, or while waiting in the SCC lobby.

Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?

You can reschedule your appointment by sending a portal message to your counselor. You can cancel an appointment by responding "NO" to your text or email reminder. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please do so at least two days in advance, so that we can offer that time slot to another student. If you would like to schedule again after cancelling an appointment, please contact the SCC through the messaging portal, phone, or email.

Who is eligible for counseling services?

All currently registered 91大神猫先生千人斩 undergraduate students are eligible to utilize Student Counseling Center services. However, students must be physically located in the state of Florida to engage in individual counseling, for both in-person and telehealth. All currently registered 91大神猫先生千人斩 graduate students are eligible to utilize counseling through . Any 91大神猫先生千人斩 student, regardless of academic level or location, may engage in virtual workshops, consultation services, or request referrals.

I'm not sure counseling is right for me, what can I do?

We understand that counseling is a personal choice, and may not be right for everyone. If you would like to talk with a counselor about your options, please submit an  and request a consultation. You can use this meeting to discuss your concerns and come up with a plan for moving forward, which may involve other SCC or 91大神猫先生千人斩 resources, community-based options, and/or self-help tools.

You can also do a lot of things on your own to improve your mental health! We encourage building up personal coping skills, developing a positive support system, taking care of your physical health, engaging in something you find meaningful, and practicing self-reflection.
